Advanced Search TipsMy favorite thing to search quicker is to head to search preferences and jack the displayed results up to 100. This allows you to quickly scan thru many results at a time for what seems relevant. Great tip for speed readers! Use the minus sign to exclude terms from your search.

Bring Dead Links Back to LifeSo you found what you were looking for but now you are getting a 404 page does not exist error.... There is still hope. Google and some other search engines have cached versions of most pages. Check the Google cache to see if your information comes up. If that doesn't get your info then it's time to bring out the big guns.....
The Internet Archive Wayback Machine stores multiple cached versions of web pages going back years in time. With this invaluable resource high quality web pages that went away for what ever reasons can be accessed just by entering an addy and selecting the date of the cached version to view.
